Celebrate Life

Today I am celebrating life for no reason
Every day I put my best smile to greet each season
At Bay, I keep all strife for all occasion
With Ray of Light, I let Elixir of life to lead its foundation
At Sight of fight, I strife with knife for each lesion
With Bright sunlight, I replay all high five to completion
At Dusk, Way of life to guide to its formation
With moonlight, I let beacon to shine in all direction

Today I am celebrating life for no reason
Every day I put my best smile to greet each season

In winters, I let bonfire of happiness snug me
In spring, I desire the innocence of nature hug me
In summer, I make sunshine my attire to bug me
In autumn, I cease fire with swim in sea of love to tug me

Today I am celebrating life for no reason
Every day I put my best smile to greet each season
Right Away, I request everyone to celebrate life for no reason
Every day put your best smile to greet each season to make it great

Womanhood redefined in 2014

Idea of this post came first time heard the monologue by kalki Koechlin and our most cherished day as Women’s day. Somehow that day passed without any word to my kitty. Suddenly Queen with her independent carefree struck my mind for a long to urge me even till date to write . May be it’s the effect of “K” alphabet Empress to make us feel sometimes entangled in worldly society and sometimes to make us feel empowered to break the society norms and “Live Life Queen Size”.
Suddenly I recognized that both have wanted to make us feel beautiful even after the struggle, our ancestors have gone through. One using the lethal words and advising us to fight for own justice. Another letting us remember that no matter what may happen we need to remain happiness.
Kalki with her analytical mind went on made us remember that we are the second to Man and maybe that’s why we are called woman. How far we have come when we wouldn’t have a single chance to survive. But still asking to ponder whether we have a far way or still we are in tunnel without a ray of hope to see light. We still live in clichĂ© and define woman with colour coding. Isn’t it time we realize that we willn’t have any princess charming to rescue ourselves and atleast we as woman shouldn’t be judging other woman on how she dresses up, stand up. Let the woman next to you be herself and not be judged by prejudice of the society. She even goes to extend to explain to mankind that “All Man have nice intentions for their woman and want them to feel like princess “. But isn’t time she feels like a Queen and have her basic rights of freedom and cared. Let her wear grace of dignity of thought for the day.
Queen or the Kanganna made feel just qualified to be a woman who has strength to handle each circumstances like a true queen will. She is settled and knows to challenges the status quo without being rude. She goes through her low points when her fiancĂ© dishonor their relationship just 2 days before marriage. She is fragile and weak to the point where she feels the pain of being rejected but not to extend to ruin her whole life. She is so strong that She decides to go on her honeymoon alone. Her parents doesn’t crib much thinking that she may be feel better. Story has a new beginning where rani learns and tries new thing be it making new friends, learning to dance carefreely but still not changing who she is internally.
Both have made me realize that we as woman or female are strong. No matter how things turns out to be we can always strike back to life and remain happiness amidst all sadness and rough patch of life. Its time we stop beggaring other woman rather paveway path for all of us. And gentle request to all the GentleMen encourage ladies in your life to feel the freedom and equality. Ladies when we get such chances don’t fight, don’t scream but let ourselves be assertive in honorable voice.
Oye woman you are a woman
Show the world a person who is mature
Its time world be assured of your demure
Let your voice be alluring the place of secure
Let the mankind be so pure
Oye Woman you are a woman
Don’t let other woman endure the pain
Let bygone be bygone and break the chain
Don’t let the other women be abstained
Oye Woman you are a woman
Don’t become the cushion for rookie
Don’t make the attire your footage
Wear the luring mind
Oye Woman you are a woman
So pure so securing so reassuring so caring
Oye woman you are a woman
World looking to inspiring beauty
Oye woman be a woman not a man and love yourself each second each moment

Highway

Its seems strange that we all live our whole life in confusing states. When you are put across unnerving situation, we don't actually know how we behave. I realized the impact of above lines when I watched Highway. Some emotions were so raw and came out beautifully. When Alia explains to Randip Hooda that she feels far more safer her than back at home. I googled the number of woman being sexually exploited in India. 7 out of 10 are exploited at least once in their lifetime. The men who surround us has  been part of it either being by silent ultimately throwing anger on females only whom they can dominate or by doing themselves. When Alia bhatt tries to scream and tells everybody how she feels z a breathtaking moment of the film and face her inner turmoil. How much she hates when she has to live double life. That made me realise if that uncle was to be blamed for what he did , wasn't her parents equally responsible for hiding it under the wrap. Its time people as parents and friends start taking responsibility for what happens to female and become vocal about it. Why do we attach so much importance and wrap under cover??  May be that's  what attracted Alia to Ranadip was his attitude after aleast all he has went through in life, Ranadip's conscience  is still alive in life.Alia is so genuine when she says I have never felt the same may be because whatever and whoever I do you will be able to handle.May be that's why felt cared and loved with Ranadip which she has missed for ages the protection she wanted from her parents. Behaving in proper manner willnt change how a child in  female dies when she has to undergo such emotional turmoil. I hope parents start taking stand rather than being a spectator in the whole show.

It seems like a story of hindi film
I met you long bck wen I liked de way you understood me
Long back I wanted to fall in love
Time came and we parted our ways
Wheel of fortune turned we became frnds again
Yesterday I wanted to hold back
Today I still feel lost arnd you
Ur smile used to make me smile nd giggle
But presently I deep down struggle for genuine smile
Today I cnt even understand myself
Today even frndshp is scaring me
I have heard past is gone, future is yet to come and present is a gift
Strangely present scares me the most and I wish I cud turn pages f book f lyf nd delete few pages f it

Time to learn and remember stories

We all hear lot of religious stories in our childhood, do we hear them as another story or we search for its deeper meaning? This is most mystifying question to me. All of us hear or watch Mahabharata / Ramayana in our childhood. If we would have understood them, then why do we face problem in our lives. Even the B-School has started teaching the management from these books? Have we become detached from everything? It just bugs me most when I see Indian male being ego-centric and always trying to dominate any woman in their life. Why do I find Indian Male adopting the role of Lord Shiva? I just can’t believe what we are taught is not what is written in our rich literature. Lord Shiva was one respected and admired Goddess Parvati for her courageous. We worship Goddess Parvati in various forms and The Goddess is considered to symbol of strength and fighter against all odds. Lord Shiva accepted son born from the Goddess Parvati Ganesh. Imagine now an Indian male accepting a child of his wife born from some illegitimate means. I just can’t take this. People just remember the Lord Vishnu Avatar Maryada Purushottam Ram who has had his wife,Goddess Sita to take agni pareeksha when she had to spend some days in Ravana’s den.  But another Mahabharta epic has stories of unwed women getting pregnant and finally that son fighting with his brother but in the end just to die. People remembered them perfectly but have they forgotten about the Lord Sun. I guess we hear and remember what suites us perfectly. We are forgetting Goddess Sandya who was wife of Lord Sun, left him only because she couldn’t tolerate the radiance of his husband Sun. God couldn’t even know the same since Sandya created chaya out of penance. When Sun begot Shani as his child after union with Chaya, He realizes the truth. And when Sun got to know about it , he left everything in search of Sandya not because his ego was hurt but for his love for Sandya . Since Sandya has turned herself into a mare, he also did the same. With time, he changed the heart of his wife and took her alongwith him. When all God of Gods can understand his lessons instead to get aggravated he changed himself to win over his beloved. Have the males forgotten their lesson? When God and Goddess can have their share of stories why is that we humans are blamed for our follies. If anyone has doubt read about the Our God of Teacher, Jupiter and his wife Tara. Moon is believed to be the father of illegitimate Mercury who was son of the wife of Jupiter. Jupiter who is considered as the lord of progeny accepted mercury as his child and imparted mercury with all the knowledge, that’s why Mercury is considered to be witty, intelligent and at the same prince among all Gods.  Do we observe the essence of these stories? I doubt we do. We only believe and adopt our half cooked stories.  Are we women to be blamed for the same? To an extent yes, we are one of the strong supporter of man. Males are ego-eccentric because they breed on our emotions. We nurture them from their beginning be it in the form of mother, sister or later as better-half. We are the ones who don’t stop them when are misbehaving with us then why complain later. Haven’t we got our lessons from the Goddess Durga in her various incarnations? Haven’t male taken  their lessons from these stories ? Nothing is for eternal and if they want they will have to take care for others as they want them to be taken care of. So, when a woman cheats why doesn’t male look deep inside why is only woman asked to do so in the reverse scenario. When relationships don’t work  why is that mother feeds the boy that gal must have been wrong while gal’s mother also bugs her why he left you. Why can’t they understand their so called blue-eyed boy wasn’t meant to stay in her life and fucker , cheater and liar he may have been. When a man demands anything it’s alright why not the reverse? WE ARE BOUND TO STICK AND STAY IN THIS DEEP SHIT TILL WE TRY TO BREAK OUR BOUNDS AND LIVE OUR LIVES ON OUR OWN TERMS. AS ROME WASN’T BUILT IN ONE DAY LETS BUILD OUR CASTLE AND LIBERATE OURSELVES AND SO THAT OUR SOULS REST IN PEACE.

Its only in the end

Its on the dead end that you look back
Its on the cross road that you look for way
Its on the turn that you check your speed
Its in the darkness you search for dawn
Its admist the fog you search for sunlight
Its in the rain you search for rainbow
Its in the sorrow you search for happiness
Its in the tear you remember laughing moments
Its only in the end you remember the beginning

Its on the dead end you look back
Its only in the end you remember the beginning
